The Mount Olive Lutheran Daycare/Preschool also offers before and after school care.  It has a called director, Margarete Dohring, who has a master's degree in education, and five other staff members.  The teachers are all Christians whose first desire is to share the love of Jesus with the children.

We believe that our mission is to educate young children using developmentally appropriate practices, first and foremost in the love of Jesus Christ and His unconditional love for all of us. Through the process of educational play, we guide and support learning in all domains. This includes physical, cognitive, and social-emotional maturity. As educators in the field of Early Childhood, we acknowledge differences in growth patterns, and that children should not be pressured to accomplish what they are not ready to do. We support providing a variety of experiences that allow children to develop their abilities that promotes curiosity, and a love of learning. We offer unconditional love, patience, and a supportive environment that extends to each and every family. We will be in daily prayer for the well-being of our children that have been entrusted to us.

Hours are from 7:00 AM - 5:30 PM, Monday through Friday, with the exception of some holidays.  The preschool for those 2 1/2 - 5 years old has sessions from 9:00 AM - 11:30 AM.  The daycare for ages 2 1/2 - 5 years runs from 7:00 AM - 5:30 PM.  Before and after school care for children ages 6 - 11 years old is also offered between the hours of 7:00 AM - 5:30 PM.
